CAPSTONE COPPER CORP unveiled a $3B investment plan in Chile's Atacama region on Monday morning, targeting a doubling of production by 2031, per the Chile's mining ministry.
The Canada-based miner will allocate $2.3B to the Santo Domingo project and $220M to two short-term projects at Mantoverde. The expansion comes as Copper producers face growing global demand for energy transition metals.
