Canada Inflation Rate Slows to 2.8 Percent in June

Canada's annual inflation rate cooled more than expected to 2.8% in June as gasoline prices fell over 10% following a brief diplomatic resolution in the Middle East. Core inflation measures also eased while the Canadian dollar weakened slightly against the U.S. dollar after the report.
