British International Investment announced on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, a 40 million dollar commitment to the Allianz Credit Emerging Markets (ACE) blended finance fund. This announcement, made in the United Kingdom
GB, follows the official launch of the vehicle on Monday in London. With this latest contribution, the fund has secured 690 million dollars in total commitments as it moves toward an overall target of 1 billion dollars.
The ACE fund, managed by Allianz Global Investors, a subsidiary of Allianz SE , utilizes a blended finance structure designed to mobilize large-scale capital for climate-related projects. Under this model, development finance institutions are providing 150 million dollars in public concessional capital. This foundation is intended to attract private investors, who are expected to contribute up to 850 million dollars to the vehicle. Blended finance combines these two sources of capital to address development challenges by mitigating risk for private participants.
