Authorities are currently investigating a range of suspected criminal activities, including criminal organization, fraudulent management of a financial institution, market manipulation, and money laundering.
During the execution of 42 warrants, police seized a significant array of assets, including cash, luxury watches, vehicles, mobile phones, and a firearm. Federal investigators are seeking to freeze assets totaling more than 5.7 billion reais as they probe the bank's financial dealings. This escalation follows an initial phase launched in November 2025, during which Daniel Vorcarowas arrested on the same day the central bank ordered the liquidation of Banco Master. While he was later released, he remains under judicial supervision and is required to wear an electronic ankle monitor.
