Brazil President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva said on Thursday that the nation's public debt trajectory is not a concern for a potential new term. Lula pointed to improving fiscal scenarios since taking office in 2023 and projected a primary surplus this year. Economic growth will reduce the debt-to-GDP ratio, the president said during an interview on Thursday evening with TV Globo's Jornal Nacional.
