The company also announced a significant workforce reduction, stating it will cut over 4,000 jobs as part of a restructuring initiative. During the three-month period ending December 31, the financial technology firm posted an adjusted profit of 65 cents per share. This performance marks a year-over-year increase from the 47 cents per share recorded in the fourth quarter of the prior year. In connection with the job cuts and organizational changes, the company anticipates incurring restructuring charges estimated between $450 million and $500 million. These measures reflect a strategic shift as the firm navigates evolving market conditions and seeks to optimize its operational efficiency.
