BIOGEN INC has reached an agreement to acquire the exclusive rights to an experimental immune disease treatment in Greater China from TJ Biopharma. The deal, valued at up to $850 million, grants the United States-based pharmaceutical giant full worldwide rights to develop and market the therapy. Following the announcement, shares of Biogen rose 1.3% in premarket trading.
