Barnes and Noble will open a new location at Penn Square Mall as part of a thirteen million dollar renovation by Simon Property Group. This marks the return of a bookstore to the shopping center for the first time since twenty eleven.
Barnes & Noble will open a new bookstore at Penn Square Mall in Oklahoma City in May 2027 as part of a $13 million renovation by owner Simon Property Group. The retail addition marks the mall's first bookstore since Borders closed its Waldenbooks location in 2011. The expansion comes as the nationwide chain grows its footprint to 720 locations across the United States.
