Canada will keep its inflation target at 2% for the next five years under a renewed monetary policy framework unveiled on Thursday. The framework maintains a 1% to 3% control range that has been in place for the last 35 years. The agreement preserves policy continuity as the economy navigates structural shifts and geopolitical uncertainty.
