The second-largest pension fund in Australia has significantly increased its exposure to global equities and international bonds, targeting asset classes that have seen heavy sell-offs due to market volatility. The Australian Retirement Trust (ART), which manages A$350 billion, is capitalizing on the financial instability triggered by the conflict in Iran. Jimmy Louca, a senior portfolio manager at the fund, noted that ART is currently engaging in more frequent direct market trading than its usual weekly cycle.
