Arxis files for US IPO as 2025 revenue more than doubles
Arxis filed for a U.S. IPO on Tuesday after its 2025 revenue more than doubled to $1.59 billion. The aerospace firm reported a net income of $46 million.
Arxis, an aerospace and defense component manufacturer backed by private equity firm Arcline, has filed for an initial public offering in the United States, revealing that its annual revenue more than doubled in the latest fiscal year. The filing underscores a robust appetite among private equity sponsors to test the public listing market amid surging global demand for specialized aerospace and defense hardware.
According to the regulatory documents, Arxis reported a net income of approximately $46 million on revenue of $1.59 billion for 2025. This represents a significant financial recovery compared to 2024, when the company posted a net loss of $55.5 million on revenue of $743 million. The company, which employed approximately 5,750 people as of December 31, 2025, produces critical parts such as flight control bearings and engine fire seals for original equipment manufacturers.
The aerospace and defense sector has attracted heightened investor interest recently, supported by rising global defense spending and resilient demand within commercial aviation. Arcline, which specializes in industrial investments and currently controls Arxis, is expected to remain a long-term investor in the company following the IPO. The private equity firm has been active in the sector, having recently reached a $2.2 billion agreement in November to acquire Novaria Group from KKR & Co. Inc..
Arxis has applied to list its common stock on the Nasdaq exchange under the ticker symbol ARXS. The offering is being managed by a group of joint bookrunning managers including The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc., Morgan Stanley, and Jefferies.
