Apollo Global Management to Buy EasyJet for $7.7 Billion
Apollo Global Management has reached an agreement to acquire easyJet in a deal valuing the budget carrier at 5.7 billion pounds. The takeover follows a bidding process that saw rival suitor Castlelake withdraw its pursuit after easyJet management and the founding family backed the higher Apollo offer.
