Apollo to buy easyJet for 7.7 billion dollars
The U.S. asset manager Apollo Global has reached an agreement to take the European budget airline easyJet private for 5.70 billion pounds. The deal follows the withdrawal of rival suitor Castlelake from the bidding process for the carrier.
