Airbus Q1 Deliveries Fall 16 Percent to 114 Aircraft
Airbus delivered 60 jets in March for a quarterly total of 114 aircraft. This 16 percent drop from last year follows ongoing engine and supply chain issues.
AIRBUS SE announced on Thursday that it delivered 60 aircraft in March, bringing its total for the first quarter of 2026 to 114 jets. This volume represents a 16% decline compared to the 136 aircraft delivered during the same period in 2025. The manufacturer, which is headquartered in France, continues to face industrial challenges despite the steady demand for new planes.

The March delivery figures included three jets sent to Emirates in the United Arab Emirates, even as the airline manages disruptions caused by regional conflict. Other deliveries in the Middle East included one jet to Etihad Airways and another to Flyadeal, an airline based in Saudi Arabia.
Company executives noted that production has been restricted by ongoing issues within the global supply chain. Specifically, shortages of engines and difficulties in the supply of fuselage panels have hindered the company's ability to meet its full delivery potential since the start of 2026.
For the full year, the aerospace firm has set a target of 870 aircraft deliveries. Sales performance remained positive in the first quarter, with 408 aircraft sold, or a net total of 398 after accounting for cancellations.
