Air Canada cut its 2026 core profit forecast on Thursday after surging jet fuel costs outpaced fare hikes. The airline reduced its adjusted EBITDA range to between C$2.4 billion ($1.72 billion) and C$2.7 billion. The downgrade follows similar cuts from major United States carriers facing identical margin pressures.
