AI firm Nebius plans major 240MW data center in northern France

The Amsterdam-based cloud provider is redeveloping a former tire factory into a major facility. Initial capacity is expected to go online by late summer.

Nebius Group N.V. NBISNBIS, an AI cloud services firm based in the Netherlands NLNL, announced today that it plans to develop a 240-megawatt data centre in Béthune, France FRFR. The facility, which will be situated on the site of a former Bridgestone tyre plant, is expected to be one of the largest data centres in Europe. According to the company, capacity will be delivered in phases, with the first stage coming online by late summer and approximately half of the site projected to be operational by the end of 2026.
