AfCFTA Signs 3.1 Billion Dollar Customs Overhaul Deal

The AfCFTA Secretariat has entered a 20-year agreement with Bergmans Security Consultants to digitize customs processes across 50 member states. The project aims to double intra-African trade by 2035 by standardizing procedures and reducing revenue leakages through real-time tracking.
