El-Sayed and Rogers Speak in Detroit
Michigan Senate candidates Abdul El-Sayed and Mike Rogers are scheduled to appear before the Detroit Economic Club. The event comes two weeks before the November election as the candidates campaign for the seat currently held by Senator Gary Peters.
Democrat Abdul El-Sayed and Republican Mike Rogers will appear before the Detroit Economic Club on the afternoon of October 20. The candidates are vying for a Senate seat in the United States held by retiring incumbent Gary Peters.
The forum comes two weeks before the November 3 election and a day before their second televised debate. Control of the Senate remains closely contested by national parties.
