The housing market in the United Kingdom has experienced a loss of momentum as buyer demand softens under the weight of geopolitical instability and concerns over future interest rate movements. According to the latest survey from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), new buyer enquiries fell to a net balance of -26 in February, down from -15 in January and marking the lowest point for the metric since December.
