Quest Diagnostics Raises 2026 Forecast on Strong Demand

QUEST DIAGNOSTICS INC has raised its full-year profit and revenue forecast for 2026 after delivering first-quarter results that exceeded Wall Street expectations. The company, a major provider of diagnostic services in the United States, attributed the growth to sustained demand for routine testing and new hospital laboratory management contracts. Following the announcement, shares of the New Jersey-based company rose 2.5% in premarket trading.
The company now expects full-year revenue to range between $11.78 billion and $11.90 billion, an increase from its previous guidance of $11.70 billion to $11.82 billion. This updated outlook is higher than the average analyst estimate of $11.75 billion. Quest Diagnostics Inc also projected an adjusted profit of $10.63 to $10.83 per share for the year, up from the prior range of $10.50 to $10.70 and above the consensus estimate of $10.55 per share.
