Prysmian acquires Spain based ACSM to internalize subsea installation

The target company is a submarine cable installation specialist based in ES ESES. This acquisition, which is valued at approximately $198 million at an exchange rate of 0.8523 euros per dollar, will be fully funded using cash from the existing balance sheet of Prysmian S.p.A..
By acquiring ACSM, Prysmian S.p.A.will bring critical subsea surveying, seabed preparation, and installation capabilities in-house. This move is designed to enhance the vertical integration of the world's largest cable maker within the high-growth submarine cable market. The transaction, which involves a firm in the same industry space as ACS Group , is expected to be completed by February 2026. This move follows the strategy of the company to internalize critical installation capabilities.
