The Nikkei 225 topped 66,934.33 on Monday, a 0.9% gain and a record intraday peak above 67,000, driven by AI-related stocks. SOFTBANK GROUP CORP surged 14%, overtaking TOYOTA MOTOR CORP to become Japan's most valuable company. The shift underscores a broad reallocation of capital from traditional manufacturing toward global artificial intelligence infrastructure.
