Marico Forecasts 150 Billion Rupee Revenue for Fiscal 2027
The Indian consumer goods major expects annual revenue to exceed 150 billion rupees as it shifts focus toward premium foods and personal care. While quarterly profit beat estimates, the company warned that geopolitical tensions and rising crude prices are pressuring margins.
MARICO LTD expects annual revenue to exceed 150 billion rupees ($1.57 billion) by March 2027 following a premium product expansion. The forecast surpasses LSEG analyst estimates of 146.94 billion rupees for the fiscal year. Investors are weighing the revenue growth against shrinking margins caused by rising input costs and geopolitical instability.
### Premium Shift Drives Revenue Outlook The consumer goods major in India is pivoting toward high-end foods and personal care brands such as Plix and Beardo. This premium segment accounted for 23% of revenue in fiscal 2026, and Marico projects it will reach 33% by fiscal 2030. AWL AGRI BUSINESS LTD is pursuing a similar diversification strategy to reduce reliance on traditional oil products.
