US Treasury launches whistleblower website to report financial fraud and money laundering

The US Treasury launched a website today to collect tips on fraud and money laundering. Whistleblowers can earn rewards of up to thirty percent of fines.

The U.S. Treasury Department announced on February 13, 2026, the launch of a new website to accept whistleblower tips on fraud, money laundering and sanctions violations. The department stated it will offer monetary rewards of up to 10%–30% of fines when tips lead to successful enforcement actions. This move is intended to generate leads for enforcement actions and strengthen safeguards for the U.S. financial system in the United States USUS.
