SpaceX Seeks $1.75 Trillion Valuation for Public Debut
Elon Musk's SpaceX is seeking a $1.75 trillion valuation for its upcoming IPO. The valuation is supported by Starlink growth and a record rocket launch pace.
Elon Musk’s SpaceX is seeking a $1.75 trillion valuation for its forthcoming initial public offering, a figure that would place the aerospace company among the most valuable corporate entities in the United States. If realized, this valuation would immediately make SpaceX the sixth most valuable publicly listed firm in the country, exceeding the market capitalization of META PLATFORMS INC-CLASS A, which has been public for over a decade, and BERKSHIRE HATHAWAY INC-CL A, a company that predates SpaceX founder Elon Musk. Despite the high price tag, investors are showing significant interest in an IPO that could raise $75 billion or more, setting a new record.
