Revolut will launch a United States bank next year to offer FDIC-insured accounts and stablecoin access. Revolut, which applied for a national bank charter in March, aims to transition its 1 million American users to a full-service banking platform. This expansion targets a slice of the $6 billion in annual revenue Revolut generated globally last year.
### Multi-Currency Focus for Global Travelers Revolut U.S. CEO Cetin Duransoy said the bank will prioritize retail and business customers with international financial needs. The platform will support deposits and transactions in more than 30 currencies, including the dollar and the rupee. While the bank will provide access to ATM networks, it will operate without physical branches from its headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut, and an office in New York.
