EPL and Indovida Merge in Two Billion Dollar Deal
Indian packaging firm EPL Ltd agreed to merge with Indorama-backed Indovida on Sunday. The deal values the combined entity at approximately two billion dollars.
In a significant consolidation within the global packaging sector, India based EPL Limited announced on Sunday an agreement to merge with Indovida. The transaction, which is supported by Thailand based Indorama Ventures, values the combined business at approximately $2 billion. This merger is designed to integrate the specialized packaging operations of EPL with the extensive plastic portfolio of Indovida. By combining these assets, the new group aims to enhance its market presence and operational efficiency across its international operations. The deal represents a major investment in the sector, highlighting the ongoing demand for integrated packaging solutions.
