Bain Capital to Sell Stake in Bridge Data Centres
Bain Capital is looking to sell at least 40% of Bridge Data Centres as demand for digital infrastructure rises. Citigroup and JPMorgan are managing the deal.
United States investment firm Bain Capital is exploring the sale of a significant stake in Bridge Data Centres (BDC), a Singapore-based data infrastructure developer. According to sources familiar with the matter, the private equity firm is seeking a valuation of approximately $5 billion for the company. The proposed transaction involves a stake of at least 40%, though Bain Capital may consider offloading a controlling interest if the offers are sufficiently attractive.
To manage the divestment process, the Boston-based firm has reportedly engaged CITIGROUP INC and JPMORGAN CHASE & CO as financial advisors. The sale has already garnered interest from various infrastructure funds and private equity players, with indicative bids expected to be submitted by late May.
