HP Appoints Emma Walmsley as New CEO

HP Inc named former GSK plc chief Emma Walmsley as CEO to steer the hardware maker through a memory chip crunch. She takes over on January 4.

Walmsley succeeds interim CEO Bruce Broussard, who will move up to board chair. The incoming chief executive brings consumer goods and board-level tech experience from Microsoft Corp to navigate an ongoing industry downturn.
