Democrat Leila Namvar holds a strong lead over Republican incumbent Greg Wallis in the 47th Assembly District race as ballot counting continued Wednesday, November 4. The potential flip threatens a district where Democratic candidates lost close contests in both 2022 and 2024 across the United States. Retaining the seat would further solidify a projected Democratic supermajority in the state legislature.
