The United States and the Philippines are partnering to establish a 4,000-acre industrial hub aimed at bolstering supply-chain security. The project, situated within the Luzon Economic Corridor, will cover approximately 1,620 hectares and operate under the Pax Silica framework.
According to a statement from the U.S. State Department, the site will focus on increasing the production of inputs that are vital to American supply chains. The department welcomed the Philippines joining the initiative, which is designed to enhance the resilience of manufacturing pipelines for critical goods.
