Swift launches blockchain ledger with seventeen banks
The global messaging network Swift has launched a blockchain based ledger with seventeen major banks including Citi and HSBC to facilitate 24 hour tokenised fund transfers. This initiative aims to integrate regulated banking systems with digital ledger technology to compete with the stablecoin industry.
