Portugal to Buy Three Fincantieri Frigates for 3 Billion
Portugal will acquire three multi-purpose frigates from Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri to modernize its navy and address evolving geopolitical threats. The three billion euro agreement includes vessel sustainment and technology transfers with deliveries scheduled between 2029 and 2030.
