Ofcom allows Openreach copper price hikes from 2029

British regulator Ofcom announced that BT unit Openreach can raise wholesale copper broadband prices starting in April 2029. The policy aims to encourage customer migration to full-fibre networks in areas with extensive ultra-fast coverage.
