Benchmark 10-year government bond yields across the ten largest developed economies rose by an average of 81 basis points during the year, fueling a $4 trillion increase in debt burdens. The climb pushes total developed-market government debt above $75 trillion, according to a Fitch Ratings report published on Tuesday afternoon.
