Early voting opens in Franklin County
Early voting began in Franklin County with a steady morning turnout as residents lined up at the board of elections. Officials expect a busy season driven by competitive contests.

Early voting opened across the United States state of Ohio on Oct. 6, drawing a steady turnout of residents to the Franklin County Board of Elections office. Franklin County elections director Antone White reported that the center deployed about 75 staff members and 125 voting machines to handle the volume. The early start comes ahead of the Nov. 3 general election, driven by competitive local and statewide races.
