Clariant Rejects Dow Europe 1.1 Billion Euro Damage Claim

The Swiss specialty chemicals maker Clariant has rejected a 1.1 billion euro damages claim from Dow Europe regarding alleged competition law infringements in the ethylene market. Clariant stated it will adamantly defend its position and maintains that its conduct had no effect on market pricing.
