UniCredit scrapped remote working arrangements for CEO Andrea Orcel's direct reports with immediate effect, union representatives in Italy said. The sudden shift makes remote work an exception requiring advance approval for top managers at the bank. Management plans to extend the policy to all staff starting in January, according to union officials.
