IndiGo is in talks with Embraer to buy 100 regional jets with an option for 50 more, three people with direct knowledge of the matter said Tuesday morning. The potential purchase in India ranks among the largest orders ever placed with the Brazil-based planemaker. Securing the deal would expand the carrier's regional network and potentially replace older turboprops.
