Democrat flips Kentucky House seat

Democrat Aaron Currin secured 53% of the vote to flip a Northern Kentucky state House seat, defeating incumbent Stephanie Dietz on Tuesday evening. The victory reclaims District 65 for Democrats after the seat was lost in 2023 following redistricting. Currin raised $30,000 for the race, outpaced by Dietz's campaign spending of more than $200,000.
