Nissan invests 170M pounds for UK hybrid SUV

Japanese automaker Nissan plans to build a new hybrid small SUV at its Sunderland plant in the UK. The company will invest 170 million pounds to assemble the vehicle alongside existing models.

Nissan Motor Co Ltd will invest £170 million ($229 million) to build a new hybrid small SUV at its plant in the United Kingdom. The Japanese automaker announced the production plan during Wednesday's midday briefing.
