Andrea Salinas wins Oregon House race
Democratic Representative Andrea Salinas defeated Republican challenger David Russ to secure a third term in the United States House of Representatives for Oregon's Sixth Congressional District. Salinas previously topped Russ in previous election cycles across the district, which spans Polk, Yamhill, and parts of Marion, Clackamas, and Washington counties. Her victory preserves a key seat as lawmakers grapple with federal funding allocations for healthcare and social safety net programs.
