China-based electric vehicle startup Windrose has reached a new milestone with the delivery of its first long-haul electric heavy truck in the United States. The vehicle, priced at approximately $285,000, was handed over to Texas-based logistics firm Allogic and its partner Greenspace through an American intermediary on April 1. This delivery marks a significant step in the company's global expansion strategy.

Founded in 2022, Windrose is positioning itself as a competitor to the Semi truck developed by TESLA INC. The startup has already secured full vehicle certifications across Asia, Europe, and both North and South America. Looking ahead, the company expects to receive regulatory approval for the Oceania market in the second half of 2026.
