Westinghouse plans hundreds of new jobs in Spain to support European nuclear expansion

Westinghouse Electric Company announced on February 16, 2026, that it will hire hundreds of additional workers at its operations in Spain
ES by the end of the decade. This staffing increase is designed to support the expansion of the AP1000 reactor model business into European markets and to enable the delivery and support of new reactor projects across the region. The company plans to raise its headcount in Madrid from approximately 1,200 at the end of 2024 to around 1,500 by 2030.
