The United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) announced on Tuesday that it secured orders for a record $17.9 billion in monetary relief during the 2025 fiscal year. This total marks a sharp increase from the $8.2 billion in financial remedies obtained during the previous year, even as the total number of enforcement actions saw a decline.
