The United States has officially removed sanctions against the acting president of Venezuela, Delcy Rodriguez, according to an update from the Treasury Department. This decision follows the apprehension of former President Nicolas Maduro by U.S. forces during a raid on the capital less than three months ago. The Trump administration has since engaged in high-level diplomacy with the interim government led by Rodriguez, who previously served as vice president and is a known ally of Maduro.
