The chair of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee in the United States is proposing new fees for electric vehicles to help fund the repair and maintenance of the nation's highways. Representative Sam Graves, a Republican, indicated that he intends to introduce a multi-year surface transportation bill in early April to address long-term infrastructure funding.
