Unilever and McCormick merge in 65 billion dollar food deal

Unilever will merge its food unit with McCormick to create a 65 billion dollar company. The deal includes a 15.7 billion dollar cash payment to Unilever.

The move follows the company's recent divestiture of its multi-billion euro ice cream business, which included iconic brands such as Ben & Jerry’s and Magnum.
