UNICREDIT SPA reached a non-binding agreement to sell parts of its Russian bank to a private investor in the United Arab Emirates. The deal follows pressure from the European Central Bank and a hostile bid for COMMERZBANK AG. The disposal will hit income by €3B to €3.3B but improve capital ratios by 35 bps without impacting shareholder returns.
