Russia intensified attacks on Ukraine ports, threatening the 90% of agricultural exports and all iron ore shipped through the Odesa hub. The country has shipped more than 34 million metric tons of grain in the 2025/26 season compared to 38.6 million tons previously. A total export collapse would deplete farmer working capital and disrupt global food supplies.
